Algotech supported Teleton humanitarian action this year as well, as the part of the celebration for UNICEF’s 70 years of existence and work under the “For Every Child, Hope” slogan.
Teleton named “Call, Help” was organized with a goal of raising funds to support the most disadvantaged children and their families in Serbia. Algotech as a socially responsible company has been supporting numerous humanitarian actions over years because we consider that as a correct way to actively contribute to the development and welfare of the society we live and work in.
Humanitarian TV project Teleton was carried out with a goal of raising funds to support the most disadvantaged children and their families in Serbia as a part of the huge humanitarian action organized by UNICEF in Serbia. TV project Teleton – “Call, Help” was broadcasted on TV Prva channel on Tuesday 13th of December 2016 at 20:00 PM.
Over 60 celebrities took part in this TV show, mainly from show-biz, cultural, political, media and sports world in Serbia (Predrag Miki Manojlović, Vanja Udovičić, Dejan Tomašević, Sloboda Mićalović, Aleksandar Šapić, Dado Topić, Marija Šerifović and others) answered viewers’ telephone calls and talked to them. During this 2-hour program, many interesting segments about UNICEF’s around the world and in Serbia were aired, along with music performances and participant interviews.
All participants that took a part in this projects realization, including Algotech, gave up their profits to aid this humanitarian cause. All raised money will be used to fund UNICEF’s programs for children in Serbia.
